The PEI Genealogical Society held a general public meeting open to all on Saturday November 13th, 2021 at Beaconsfield’s Carriage House, 2 Kent Street, Charlottetown.
Guest speaker Angela McDonell gave a talk on the MacDonalds and on next year’s 250th anniversary activities of the Glenaladale Settlers. Appropriately kilted Ms. McDonnell delivered her illustrated talk. To wrap up she introduced the history of her rare Scottish bagpipes and played them for the benefit of all present. It was a fitting event for the month of St Andrew’s Day.
