Margaret Campion a long time member of the PEI Genealogical Society has passed away. Margaret held several different positions on the board of directors over the years. We will miss her very much.

It is with great sadness the family of Margaret Leah Campion, 81, announces her passing on October 22, 2022, wife of the late Dennis Ernest Campion. Margaret was born in Charlottetown on April 12, 1941 to the late Edison and Ellen (MacLeod) Taylor. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Andrew, Ava (Gordon) Carter, Murray (Beth) and David (Shanea) Mark; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren; siblings Marion Grant, Prudence (Mark) MacDonald, Rod (Elizabeth), Samuel (Sandy), Harold (Wendy) and Wendell (Donna); sister-in-law Shirley. Besides her parents and husband, Margaret was predeceased by a daughter Julie Blackett, brother William Taylor, and sister Elsa Taylor.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral home with a Celebration of Life to be held on Sunday, November 6, at Hillcrest United Church, Montague at 1:30 pm. Interment will follow in Orwell Head Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Celiac Association or Canadian Cancer Societywould be greatly appreciated.
