Invitation to the PEIGS February Public Meeting 20 February 2021

The Prince Edward island Genealogical Society invites you to their quarterly  public meeting to be held at The Carriage House, (behind Beaconsfield Historic House) 2 Kent Street, Charlottetown on Saturday 20th February 2021 from 2 to 4 p.m.

The featured topic will be “How and Why to be Certified”

Bill Glen, Certified Genealogist (CG) will address the process for meeting the certification levels for the Genealogical Institute of the Maritimes (GIM) and what that means for anyone contemplating an application. Liz Glen, also a (CG), will be present as well.

Genealogists and family historians in the Maritimes who wish to have their skills recognized may not all be aware of their good fortune to be able to approach the Genealogical Institute of the Maritimes (GIM) for Certification. The PEI Genealogical Society is pleased to present this opportunity to discover the Whys and Hows of Certification.
