PEIGS Public Meeting – 29 September 2018

The PEI Genealogical Society invites you to a public meeting to be held on Saturday, September 29th, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Beaconsfield’s Carriage House located at the corner of Kent & West Streets in Charlottetown.

The guest speaker will be Janet Weinreich-Keall.  Janet was abandoned as an infant at the Prince Rupert Hospital and has spent 21+ years searching for her biological parents.   She was successful in finding them, as well as 4 half-siblings and will share her journey with us. All are welcome. Searchers are especially welcome and will be among friends and helpers because many genealogists and family historians are familiar with the world of adoption on PEI and elsewhere; experience gained either in their personal search or in the aid of others.

Admission is free and refreshments will be available.

The meeting is a great opportunity to network with others and support genealogy and heritage by considering a membership in the society.
